At page 320 of Nieuwenhuys, Voogd and van Huijzens (2008) The Human
Central Nervous System I found the word gaudiception, but google only
returns the very same book as where I found it in. What word did they
have in mind and what does it mean? This is its context: The
spinothalamic component of the anterolateral funiculus, known to form
part of the circuitry concerned with perception of temperature, touch,
and pain, is most probably also involved in gaudiception.
