Hi Bill,

I use urethane from time to time. It seems to be fairly stable over time but
I find that, in mice anyway, there's quite a fine line between the mouse
being too light and too deeply anaesthetised (and thus dying). I normally
start with a loading dose of 1.6g/kg and with top-ups around 10% of the
initial injection volume, if required.
