PhD Studentship

[Shilpa Karkhanis]

I am interested in a PhD studentship in parasitology. I have BSc in
Biology, Chemistry and Microbiology from University of Houston and Texas
Southern University.

I have worked on microsporidia, cryptosporidia and TB at Baylor College
of Medicine under Dr. Jill Clarridge. Last summer, I did an internship at
Imperial College of Science in London under Prof. E.U. Canning. This
summer I will be working on a cyclospora project at U.S. Naval Medical
Research Unit under Dr. Kevin Baird.

I will be available to start working on my PhD in October. I will glad to
send my resume and furnish recommendations.
