Dear colleagues,
Saturday I diagnosed an outbreak of bovine trypanosomiasis due to
Trypanosoma vivax in a ranch of the Pantanal. Several animals had
abortion and died. Five marsh deers died. The rancher told that he never
found a lot of died marsh deers.
Do you know some reports on trypanosomiasis due to T. vivax in South
American deers or in wildlife?
Recently a colleague diagnose other outbreak in a ranch with 85,000 heads
of cattle.
Sincerely,
