Does anyone know of techniques for doing PCR on mites(Notoedres) collected via skin scrapings and looking for cat FIV in the mites? How do you deal with the cat blood in the skin scraping that would have the virus? Any suggestions greatly appreciated. E. E . Simmons, DVM
