Host tissue reactions against parasites are often associated the production=
 of black or brown pigment, both in vertebrates and invertebrates (e.g.=
 encapsulations of larval trematodes in fish or snails, or of nematodes in=
 insects).  Do anybody know what the function of these pigments are? =20
