Hello:

Does anyone on the list know of any peer-reviewed publications that
provide convincing evidence that models of host-macroparasite
interactions accurately predict the population dynamics of the host in
nature? I'm trying to find out how useful such models really are for
predicting changes in host population sizes. In other words, have many
models been validated? Examples with fish as the hosts and
invertebrates as the parasites are of particular interest, but I'm open
to other examples too.

Many thanks, James.
