have been shown to dampen the effect of factor XII in human blood (this is a
clotting factor). </span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>I am not a parasitology expert and am hoping to locate
someone who can speak to this effect. </span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=2 face=Arial><span style='font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial'>My specific question is whether or not this dampening effect
is species specific, or if it is theoretically (or actually) a property of all
parasites.</span></font></p>
