Photosynthesis Conference. The activities will begin on Friday March 24 with
registration beginning at 3.00 pm, a mixer at 5.00 pm followed by dinner and a
lecture by an invited speaker. Oral sessions will be held on Saturday morning
and evening and, again, on Sunday morning. Early Saturday afternoon will be
free of scheduled activity. There will be a poster session in the late
afternoon. The meeting will end following lunch on Sunday. Featured
speakers this year are:

James O. Berry Department of Biology S.U.N.Y Buffalo
Developmental and light-mediated control of photosynthetic gene expression in
a C4 plant

Bill Armstrong Department of Chemistry Boston College
The Photosystem II Manganese Aggregate: A Synthetic Modelling Approach

Tom Owens Department of Botany Cornell University
Excited State Dynamics in Photosynthetic Antennae: Some New Perspectives on an
Old Problem

Registrants are encouraged to present research findings as a
poster or a 15 min lecture. Undergraduates, graduate students and
post-doctoral fellows are especially encouraged to deliver oral presentation.
Each presentation must be accompanied by an abstract which should arrive at
City College by March 6 to be included in the program.

Please return the completed registration form with payment by February 28, 1995
and the abstract by March 6, 1995. Make check payable to
'City College Busar c/o Regional Photosynthesis Conference"

I look forward to greeting all of you at Woods Hole on March 24.
