Has there been any consensus reached at to the number of CFo-III subunits found in the chloroplast proton-translocating ATP synthase/ATPase complex? I have references stating that there are five per complex and other references that state there are eleven. Thanks for your thoughts, Margaret (Hollingsworth, SUNY at Buffalo)
