Howdy, If I may ask, what is the current paradigm for the apparent afternoon depression in photosynthesis? Is this a time-lagged down regulation of the photosynthetic apparatus? A consequence of light mediated chlorophyll synthesis? A cell cycle mediated phenomena? Any thoughts? Thank you, Ed
