        A postdoctoral position is available in the department of
biochemistry at the
University of Minnesota to study the structure and function of the
photosynthetic water oxidizing complex.  Techniques to be employed include
infrared and EPR spectroscopy as well as site directed mutagenesis.  The
position is available in the fall of 1996.  The successful applicant will have a
background in chemistry, biochemistry, or biophysics.  Contact:
