<DIV><FONT color=#000000 size=2>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; I am a TA teaching
Plant Physiology Lab at Texas Tech University. Yesterday we did the basic TLC
separation of leaf pigments experiment. For many different reasons (Not enough
pigment used, messy pigment removal from plates, etc..) the class did not get
very good results. I ran a nice, clean TLC after they left and did spectrum
graphs for each pigment. I wanted to put together a little package with
the&nbsp; picture of the TLC plate showing really clean separation, plus the
spec. graphs labeled by pigment, but&nbsp; my husband and I both thought the
spec. graphs for xanthophylls were not quite right. Anyway, we looked in all
sorts of books, but could not find much on xanthophylls. What I am looking for
is an absorbance spectrum that shows what their lab manual calls
&quot;xanthophyll 1&quot; and&nbsp; &quot;xanthophyll 2&quot;, and exactly
which
wavelengths (nm) these two should absorb at. If you could e-mail the
wavelengths
to me, it would be greatly
appreciated.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&n
