A colleague of mine has asked me what is known about the molecular basis
of phenotypes of Mendel's Peas. So far I am aware of two example: the
wrinkled pea which is due to a mutation in a starch branching enzyme and
dwarf pea which is due a defect in GA biosynthesis. Does anyone know of
any others?
As I am not a member of this news group I would appreciate replies
directed to me: greenbej at beagle.colorado.edu
I will post any answers I get back to the newsgroup. Thanks in advance,
