Water potential etc.

I've had the students use sweet potato and turnip cores for the classic
water potential experiments in addition to potatoes. It works just as
well. They just did this yesterday, but I'll be checking their results in
their reports next week.
A question: What level are our plant physiology courses targeted at? I'm
just curious. Mine is supposed to be a senior level course (400), but for
reasons peculiar to my university I have sophs. & juniors in my class.
