Macro-Micro Textbook

One current general biology text book that is basically macro to micro
is by _Biology. Discovering Life_ by Joseph Levine and Kenneth Miller,
published by D.C. Heath and Company. I used this text for a couple of
years and was fairly happy with it, but in the end decided to change to
a text with more detail about plant biology. (I am currently using the
latest edition of Campbell). My focus is plant biology and ecology, and
I have yet to find a text book that covers those topics to my satisfaction.
(Regardless of the order in which they are introduced).
(and I have yet
to find a publisher that gives you a decent set of transparencies for the
plant biology, even when the text has good illustrations)
