PhD Studentship in Plant Sciences at the University of St Andrews
A PhD studentship is available for research on one of the following projects
1. Cellular localisation of nitrogen assimilation enzymes in higher plants
2. Structural and functional development of plant mitochondria
This is a 3 year BBSRC-funded Special Studentship to start on or before 1st
May 1997. Applicants must have a 2i or 1st Class honours degree in a
Biological subject. Techniques include: Protein purification, antibody
preparation, fluorescence and electron microscopy, immunolocalisation and
image analysis, enzyme assay, organelle isolation.
