Two Postdoctoral Research Positions

Post 1 (ref PRA/6) is to analyse gene expression in Arabidopsis thaliana
plants overexpressing transcription factor constructs, and to relate
changes in gene expression to the novel phenotypes observed in these
plants. Candidates should have experience with arabidopsis and the
analysis of gene expression. Experience with transcription factors and/or
plant growth regulators is also desirable. This post is for 2 years with
the possibility of renewal for a further year. For further details please
contact Dr Malcolm Campbell (telephone: 44 (0) 1865 275135; email:
malcolm.campbell at plants.ox.ac.uk; see also
http://metabolic.plants.ox.ac.uk/gradstud/development.html#campbell.)

Post 2 (ref PRA/5) is to work on the development of DNA-mediated
transformation systems for Erysiphe spp. Candidates must have proven
experience in basic molecular biological techniques and ideally a
knowledge of fungal molecular biology or molecular plant pathology. This
post is for 3 years. For further details please contact Dr Pietro Spanu
(telephone: 44 (0)1865 27826; email: spanu at trans.plants.ox.ac.uk)

Both posts are on the RA1A scale (stlg15,159 - stlg22,785) and are
