You may very well know about this, but if not...

The National Gardening Association has a lot of good information for K-8 
education using plants. You might want to check out the Kids and 
Classrooms section on their website at http://www.garden.org. There is 
also a teaching tools catalog and back issues of their educators 
newsletter, information about grants, and links to other sites.
