I'm a Form 7 Student (=college Year1) in HK. I wanna know why the O2 solubility decreases when the temperture increases. Its it that related to chemical bonding? Thanx for reply.
It probably has somethin to do with the entropy of oxygen in the gas phase which increases linearly with absolute temperature. Thus the equilibirum is shifted in favour of gaseous oxygen.
