Terrific ideas and great Web site reference!!! I worked in a lab once where they studied self infertile plants--the thought was an RNAse was inhibiting pollen tube growth...Hard to believe putting in a pistil would be enough to inhibit germination...The lab I was in used petunias which are easy to come by and apparently are self infertile...Good luck!!!
