purpose of plant-ed

  There is no place for name calling on the plant-ed discussion group. 
This is a group for discussion of teaching plant-related topics.  A
discussion of ways of tactfully handling unbelievers in a classroom is
appropriate, in my opinion, but calling each other names and being
derogatory does not help any of us become better teachers. 
  I consider language that would be inappropriate in the classroom to be
inappropriate for this discussion group as well.
