Yaupon Holly

I know that Yaupon Holly berries and leaves are poisonous, but if those are
stripped off the branches, would they be suitable to put into a Sugar Glider
cage? The Gliders tend to nibble on the bark, and if there may be any
toxins in the wood or bark I would definitly not want to put the branches in
the cage. I just want to make sure before I throw the branches all away.
Thank you very much.
