A faculty position is available in the area of:
GLOBAL ENVIRONMENTAL CHANGE
The Department of Ecology, Evolution, and Organismal Biology at Tulane
invites applications for the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (tenure track) in
the area of global change. Our preference is for someone studying plant
(terrestrial or aquatic) - atmosphere interactions at the ecosystem level.
Evidence of outstanding research, publications, and teaching ability will be
the primary criteria for this selection. The successful candidate will be
expected to develop a strong research program and to teach at the
undergraduate and graduate levels, including courses addressing
environmental biology and global change. The candidate will also be
expected to participate in Tulane's new interdisciplinary Ph.D. program in
Earth and Ecosystem Sciences.
Preference will be given to individuals with postdoctoral/professional
experience, demonstrated promise in research and teaching excellence, and
willingness to interact across disciplines.
Each candidate should submit a curriculum vitae, a statement of research and
teaching interests, copies of selected publications, and a list of three
