I have had pretty good luck with pollen from Easter lilies on plain agar
with the pollen spread about 1 mm from stigma tissue on the agar. sugar
water works with some (10-30%) - I usually try whatever is blooming in the
greenhouse and give it 2-3 hours or more to germinate. >
