Two more references that may be useful on this topic: 1) The definitive reference is supposed to be a book by J.T.O Kirk and Tilney Basset called the Plastids published around 1972. 2) There is also a more recent book (1990s) called Organelle Genetics by N. Gillham that probably has some information about this as well.
