If you want to use case studies in a class about GMOs, perhaps near
the end of the term, there are two case studies available on the web
that can be used to get students talking about GMOs.

http://ublib.buffalo.edu/libraries/projects/cases/ubcase.htm#plant

"Frankenfoods" and
"Torn at the Genes"

These cases provide some scientific background within the case, but
they also push students to talk about the implications of decisions
they make about GMOs. Plus they come with teaching guides.
