Beermats and science

Thought  (having held forth on fluorescence) I might as well be hung 
for a
sheep as a lamb.

Some years ago I was part responsible for putting scientific questions 
on
beermats in British pubs.

Since then I have been loath to discard the web site. Now, if you will
permit me, I have solved this problem.
