The following open position may be of interest to people on this 
listserve.  The ad should also appear in the next issue of the Chronicle
Higher Education.

Tenure-Track Position

BIOLOGY: Assistant Professor.  Plant geneticist, preferably with
in field work.  Ph.D. required at time of employment. Teach genetics, 
introductory biology, botany, and a course in specialty area.  Evidence
interest in teaching required, as well as demonstrated potential for 
directing undergraduate research.
