I remember that plant mitochondria were first demonstrated (maybe 70 years
ago) in daffodil perianth (after Janus Green B staining) by a woman who
commented on the contrast between the blue of the mitochondria and the
yellow of the chromoplasts . Can anyone tell me who it was?
Many thanks
