[Plant-education] Lousy Arabidopsis Germination

The subject line says it. None of us here has done a *lot* of work  
with Arabidopsis, but we never seem to get better than 25% or so  
germination in the work we have done. We're tried using "Arabipatch,"  
"Fast Plants" materials, and just ordinary soil in pots, but we never  
seem to get reliable germination. Can someone give suggestions and/or  
point us to a tried and true resource about growing these pesky  
little weeds?
