I forgot that there was a long list of possible titles for an economic
botany course posted here in Dec. 2003.

Another common course title is "Plants and Human Affairs." Duke
University and University of Guelph have what seems to be a variation
on that, "Plants and Human Use." Another variation is "Human Uses of
Plants."

The once common title, "Plants and Man", is still sometimes used.
Professor Tim Allen of the University of Wisconsin retained the title
even after the university asked him to change it because some consider
"man" sexist. Students seem to love the course anyway.

One Russian university uses the title "Economic Phytology."
