As part of the celebrations marking the Platinum Jubilee Celebrations of the Indian 

Statistical Institute, the Biological Sciences Division of the Institute in Kolkata

 to interact and deliberate on issues relating to biodiversity and its conservation.  

Conservation is not an easy task in India in the face of its growing population 

and their long tradition of high resource dependence.

 

Deadline for Abstract Submission is 31 AUGUST, 2007.
