Hello Dr. Williams,

I happened to come across an internet correspondence from 2001 between
you and Dr. Susan Schenk on the issue of Marsilea sporocarps.  We at
Ripon College also use sporocarps from this heterosporos fern in
demonstrations and we are having the same difficulty in finding a
supplier as Dr. Schenk did.  We purchased some from Carolina Biological
and they did not work.  In the 7 years that have passed since your
original message was posted, have you heard of a reliable supplier of
Marsilea sporocarps?
