The Center for the Study of Early Events in Photosynthesis at
Arizona State University has been asked to place this announcement
on the listerv.

The American Society for Photobiology's Annual Meeting in
Chicago (Downtown) from June 26-30, 1993, will feature a
strong focus on photosynthesis research.

Symposia are scheduled for approximately three hours each;
the titles include:
     "Electron Transfer in Biological Systems"
     "Photosystem I, Structure and Dynamics"
     "Light Harvesting and the Dynamics of Energy Transfer"
     "Vibrational Spectroscopy of the Reaction Center"
     "Photosystem II and Oxygen Evolution"

Many internationally known researchers will be presenting.
Opportunities exist for presenting short contributions and posters
in these and related areas.  ASP members and non-members are
welcome.
