Subject: transfection vectors
Dear all,
I am looking for a commercial (or other ) source for a transfection vector
for short or long term expression of a cloned sequence under control of a
constitutive plant promoter such as CaMV, to be used in cereal cells.
All I can find commercially is GUS reporter constructs which are not what
I need. I am not trying to transform plants, just express the RNA in
transfected cells for a few days or a few hours even if that's the best I
can do.
Anyone know of a supplier? Or do I have to start begging them from other
labs.?
I have tried Promega, Stratagene, Clontech and Invitrogen with no luck.
All ideas welcome.
Thanks in advance
Euan
