An International Course on

*SOME PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF PCR-TECHNIQUE*
**********************************************

PCR-technique is widely used in the field of molecular
biology and it has many applications in medicine, 
plant physiology and genetics. The main aim of the course 
is to teach the PCR-technique as one of the molecular 
biological method to postgraduate students, teaching staff, 
researchers and representatives from enterprises.
After the course the participants should be able to teach 
the method further for their colleagues.

Time: November 21-24, 1993

Place: Department of Botany, University of Oulu, Oulu, Finland

Themes: PCR-based site-directed mutagenesis, A PCR based 
strategy for isolating cDNAs starting from limited protein 
sequence information, RAPD markers in plant breeding.

Registration fee: 500 FIM for representatives from enterprises 
and 200 FIM for students and other participants.

should include a summary of the student's own research topic,
