Intl. Nomenclature

I, too, would like to know more about the international group on botonical 
nomenclature. Recently, a collegue corrected me when I identified poison ivy as 
Rhus radicans. Apparently, this identification has recently changed? To 
what,however, my colleague was unable to say. My newest edition of The Flora of 
the Wasatch Front (1992) still calls poison ivy Rhus radicans. Does anyone know 
what the new classification is . . . and why?
