pharmaceutical screening rain forest plants

I am interested in information on the screening of rain forest plants
for medicinal purposes by pharmaceutical companies.
Does anyone have information (or know how to obtain such info) on
the following subjects: methods of screening, collecting
localities, companies involved, etc.
