Hello Marcos:
I had a similar problem and I took my plasmid containing the methylated ClaI
site out of DH5alpha and put it into BW58, isolated plasmid DNA and now it
cuts perfectly.
BW58 is dcm- and dam-
don't know the rest of its genotype
