Iboza (Labiatae) is a genus comprising about a dozen herbs and shrubs of tropical and southern Africa. Commonest S. african sp. in cultivation is I. riparia.
Some basic information on Iboza can be found in <Hortus Third> (Macmillan, 1976), ,the first place to look up any plant. Iboza can be dealt with much like coleus or salvia.
Most books on South African wildflowers, such as Germishuizen's <Transvaal Wild Flowers> show one or more spp. of Iboza. Bullock's <Bibliography of South African Botany> will lead to other literature.
