Brassica rapa

Another Brassica species that is grown for its oily seed in the Netherlands
is Brassica napus, which probably is a hybrid (allopolyploidous) of B. rapa
and B. oleracea. This last species is `the real' cabbage (e.g. red cabbage,
brussels sprouts).
