Is there any research out there that demonstrates a change in attitude and work
performance if the work environment in which the individual works contains
plants? In the 60's there was an attempt to use plants as accoustical barriers
but this research apparently proved fruitless in the work environment. There
ing were some conclusions suggested indicating that plants in the open space
office concept set-up psychological barriers but there were no links indicating
that work performance improved or remained the same. We are looking for any
research indicating if plants in the work environment affects worker
performance. Any direction in this are would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Richard Cayne
