Y'all:

Thanks for sharing insighs and info on MR. Apparently, the jury is still 
out on this concept/theory/mechanism. I hope the assoc ed will be 
"kinder" on an up and coming manuscript resubmission. The MR is a pretty 
good model for clonal degeneration in sweetpotato, but for now the 
concept (MR) isn't invoked. Maybe in another 50 years? Do you recall 
somebody named Barbara and her multi-speckled kernels?
