AMAZING PLANTS??? HELP!!!

I need information (please?) on any plants that use their stems 
or roots in unusal ways, or have particurally amzing stems or 
roots for some reason or another. An example might be that 
strawberries can root anywhere anong the stem, and theese 
rootings are completely independent from the main plant.  
Fastest/slowest/longest is good too... THANKS A LOT!!!!!
