with responsibility for:

*       approximately 20 full- and part-time staff

*       a budget of ca 200,000 pounds stg excluding salaries

you require:

*       modern laboratory techniques relating to plant 
	identification and systematics

*	knowledge of the taxonomy of cultivated plants

*       proven management ability to lead the group.
