An internationnal congress on drought tolerance studies on higher plants will be held in Montpellier France,
 the 31th august, 1st and 2nd september 1995.
  Eleven  lectures will be presented by senior scientists
 (Drs. Passioura, Acevedo, Tardieu, Quatrano, Bartels, Pages,
  Vartanian, Mullet, Blum, Ceccarelli, Richards, Quarrie.
It will cover the reviews and recent results on the theme
 in genetics, molecular biology and ecophysiology.
