Hi,
Can somebody please send me some information about the use of
pineapple fibres in cloth making? I read once that this was
occuring in some Oriental countries. Is this still true? What
plants do they use? What parts of the plant (leaf fibres, or fruit
fibres)? What is the relative cost (production/retail vs. silk)?
What is the fabric quality? Durability? How many plants to make
a shirt? Anyone ex/importing to N. America?
Thanks,
-criedl
