ATP PHOSPHATE BONDING/ENERGY QUESTION **

Not sure if this is the correct/best group to post this in, but.....

Why is there more energy stored (and therefore released when the bond is
broken) in the last bond between the phosphate molecules in ATP???

i.e.:  ADENOSINE=PO4=PO4=PO4

Why does this bond have more energy potential than the others?
Inquiring botany students want to know. :)
