Postdoctoral Research Associate position available to study the molecular 
genetic basis of ovule development in Arabidopsis.  Research will focus 
on the analysis of ovule-specific gene expression during megasporogenesis and 
megagametogenesis, including the characterization of ovule-specific 
genes, genetic ablation of specific reproductive tissues,and functional 
analysis of ovule-specific genes in transgenic plants.  
Research experience should include skills in molecular biology, transformation
and analysis of transgenic plants, and microscopy.
